Basic material overview
Titanium Grade 2 (also known as TA2) is a high-purity industrial titanium alloy, the main component of which is pure titanium, and belongs to the α-type titanium alloy. Its chemical composition is stable, and the impurity content is strictly controlled. The typical chemical composition is: titanium (Ti) balance, iron (Fe) ≤ 0.30%, oxygen (O) ≤ 0.20%, carbon (C) ≤ 0.08%, nitrogen (N) ≤ 0.05%, hydrogen (H) ≤ 0.015%. This material is often present in the form of plates, bars, pipes, wires, etc. in industry, among which bars can be produced by cold drawing, hot rolling, forging and other processes
