Corrosion resistance:

Alloy 20 alloy is a corrosion-resistant alloy with many excellent properties. It has good resistance to oxidizing and moderate reducing corrosion, excellent resistance to stress corrosion cracking and good resistance to local corrosion. It has satisfactory corrosion resistance in many chemical process media. It has excellent resistance to stress corrosion cracking and good resistance to local reducing composite medium corrosion, and is used in sulfuric acid environment and sulfuric acid solution industrial equipment containing halogen ions and metal ions.

Corrosion resistance range: It has excellent resistance to oxidizing acids (such as nitric acid), reducing acids (such as sulfuric acid), organic acids (such as acetic acid) and chloride media, especially suitable for mixed acid environments of sulfuric acid and nitric acid.

Corrosion resistance type: It has the ability to resist stress corrosion cracking (SCC) and local corrosion (such as pitting corrosion and crevice corrosion), and can be used in harsh working conditions such as seawater and salt water

Process performance and processing requirements of N08020 alloy:

N08020 alloy needs to follow specific processes in hot processing, welding and machining to ensure stable performance

Application areas:

1. Chemical equipment: sulfuric acid storage tanks, pickling tanks, acetic acid reactors, chloride treatment pipelines

2. Energy and marine engineering: oil refining heat exchangers, power desulfurization devices, seawater desalination equipment

3. Precision parts: pumps, valves, flanges, heat exchanger pipes (common diameter 6-1016mm, wall thickness 0.5-50mm)

For Alloy 20 alloy welding, AWS A5.14 welding wire ERNiCrMo-3 or AWS A5.11 welding rod ENiCrMo-3 is recommended
