Hastelloy B-2 steel coil has the following characteristics:

Organization stability: By controlling the content of iron and chromium elements, the formation of β-phase Ni₄Mo can be prevented, and the processing brittleness can be reduced, preventing the precipitation of Ni₄Mo phase between 700-870℃. Its metallographic structure is a face-centered cubic lattice structure.

Corrosion resistance: It exhibits good corrosion resistance in reducing media, such as hydrochloric acid solutions of various temperatures and concentrations; it also has good corrosion resistance in medium-concentration sulfuric acid solutions (or solutions containing a certain amount of chloride ions); it also has excellent resistance to corrosion from various organic acids, and good resistance to chloride ion reduction stress corrosion cracking (SCC).
